Trike Bone Helmet Skin – The Trike Bone Helmet Skin is a skin that can be applied to any headgear. It is a very rare drop that can be found from killing Rexes or Alpha Raptors or Alpha Carnos. Rex Bone Helmet Skin – The Rex Bone Helmet Skin can be applied to any headgear. It can only be found by killing Dilos, or in random supply crates. These glasses are a reference to Dennis Nedry from Jurassic Park who was killed by Dilos. Nerdry Glasses – Nerdry Glasses are a skin that can be applied to any headgear. This skin is given to everyone and is placed in your inventory on first spawn or after death. It cannot be dropped from your inventory, it can only be destroyed. Some saddles and creatures, including the Procoptodon, Gallimimus, and Diplodocus, now allow for the passenger to use weapons will riding in a saddle, or a pouch in the case of Procoptodon.Hunter Hat Skin – A cowboy like hat that can be applied to any headgear. Certain creatures, including the Mesopithecus, Jerboa, Kairuku, and Gigantopithecus, can equip a helmet as armor instead of a saddle.Īs of early release, Survivors will not be able to perform mounted combat using weapons while riding in a saddle. The Equus has a saddle that allows it to function as a mobile Mortar and Pestle and craft a Lasso. The Castoroides and Thorny Dragon have a saddle that allows them to function as a mobile Smithy. Certain creatures, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Mosasaurus, and Megalodon, also have a Tek saddle that provides better armor than a normal saddle and has Tek energy weapons that is obtained from defeating Bosses. Certain large creatures, including the Paraceratherium, Brontosaurus, Plesiosaur, Quetzalcoatlus, Mosasaurus, and Titanosaurus, also have an alternate platform saddle that allow for the building of most structures on the creature's back while also functioning as a normal saddle. Certain creatures, including the Gallimimus, Tapejara, and Diplodocus, have a saddle that allows for multiple Survivors to ride the creature, while the Procoptodon can carry a passenger in its pouch. Some creatures, including the Gigantopithecus, Direwolf, Angler, Manta, and Wyvern, do not require a saddle in order to be ridden. Better quality saddles may be constructed using blueprints, or by finding them in supply drops or taken from dead bodies. Saddles will come in differing levels of quality and armor capability. In order to ride on a dinosaur or creature, a Survivor needs to tame the animal they want to ride, after which they will need to equip it with the correct type of saddle.Įach rideable beast has a unique saddle that must be used to be able to mount it. ![]()
